Ballybrack, Doneraile and late of Garryvoe.
Matilda passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family in Cork University Hospital (CUH) on Saturday, November 4th, 2023.Beloved wife of the late Mortimer and dear mother of Dan, Michael and Mort, cherished grandmother to Daniel, Elsa, Grace and Stephen. Dear sister of Mary and the late Nora and John. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons, daughters-in-law Helena and Celine, Michael's girlfriend Annie, sister-in-law Sheila (Smith), nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
May Matilda Rest in Peace
Reposing in O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Bowling Green, Mallow (P51 XE2T) on Monday evening from 7:00pm to 8:00pm followed by Prayers.
Reception into the Church of St. Joseph the Worker, Hazelwood on Tuesday morning for Requiem Mass at noon, after which Matilda will be laid to rest in St. Gobnait's Cemetery.
The family would like express their gratitude to Dr. Kelleher and all of the staff at Hazelwood Medical Centre for their tender care of Matilda for many years.
