Matilda Elizabeth (Tilly) Thompson nee Leinster, Lakeland, Tunnyduff, Bailieborough, Co Cavan died on the 19th March 2026 peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Margaret Ann, brothers Jimmy, Stanley Newell and George.
Beloved wife of John and dear mother of Trevor, daughter-in-law Valene, cherished grandchildren Louise and Adam, sister-in-law Doris Leinster, brother-in-law Jimmy Thompson, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Resting at her son Trevor & Valene's residence (A82 E9N9) on Friday 20th March from 3pm - 9pm. Funeral on Saturday 21st to arrive at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Bailieborough for Funeral service at 2pm. Burial afterwards in Seefin Presbyterian Graveyard, Gola.
