Matilda (Mattie) Mulcahy
(née Lawson)

Blackrock, Dublin / Tubbercurry, Sligo

MULCAHY (née Lawson), Matilda (Mattie), Blackrock, Co. Dublin (born in Falmouth, Cornwall, formerly of Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo). Passed away suddenly at home on 8th September 2025 with her daughter Áine and loyal dog grace at her side. Mattie is now reunited with her husband Maurice and sister Kathleen.

 

Sadly missed by her children Teresa, Fiona, Kathleen, Maurice, Rachel and Áine. Daughter-in-law Sheila and sons-in-law Danny, Don, Gerry and Ronan. Her grandchildren Daniel, Laura, Ciarán, Jessica, James, Matthew, Hannah, Eimear, Sophie and great-grandchildren Evelyn, Senan, Lily-Rose, Evie and Calum. Nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

 

May she Rest in Peace.

 

Reposing in Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Blackrock, A94 X308 on Friday 12th September from 5pm - 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday 13th September at Church of the Guardian Angels, Newtownpark Avenue, at 10am, followed by Cremation Service in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross at 12.15pm.
