The recent death has taken place of Matilda Philomena 'Mena' Murphy, (née Dunlop) originally of Magheragallon, Co. Donegal.
In her 98th year, Mena passed away peacefully in the presence of family members and under the care of staff at Darlington Memorial Hospital, on Monday 23rd of June, 2025.
Predeceased by her husband Pat, brothers and sisters John, James, Hughie, Paddy, Joe, Kevin, Grace, Jessie and Nora, she is sadly missed by her sister Mary in Australia and children Sean, Deirdre, Michael, Kathleen, Gerard and Adrian, grandchildren, great-grandchild, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass at 12 Noon, Thursday 10th July 2025 in St. Augustine's RC Church, Darlington.
