Clarke (née Metcalfe) Matilda (Tilda), 23rd October 2025, (Mourne Road, Drimnagh and late of Pearse House, Dublin 2) passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the kind care of the staff of St. James’s Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Gerard and much loved mam of Bernadette, Samantha, Ambrose, Rachel and James. Predeceased by her parents Teresa and Micheal and her loving brothers and sisters.

 

Matilda will be forever loved and sadly missed by her loving children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers Noely and Joey, sisters Colette and Teresa, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

May Matilda rest in peace.

 

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Tuesday from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10am in Church of Our lady of Good Counsel, Mourne Road followed by cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium at 12.15pm.

 

Family flowers only please. Donations, in lieu to the Heart Support Unit, St. James Hospital.
