Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth & his parents Patrick & Elizabeth.

Matt, in his 94th year, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family. Matt will be deeply missed by his devoted family, sons Pat, Michael, Matt (Chicago) & Val (Galway), daughter Maura, daughters-in-law, his sisters Maureen Joy, Hilda Gibson & Leonardine Craven, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, his many friends, and wonderful neighbours.

Reposing at Carthage Nursing Home, Mucklagh (R35 EK85) on Saturday the 2nd of March from 5pm until rosary at 8pm. Matt’s funeral mass will be celebrated on Sunday at 1.30pm in St. Colman’s Church, Mucklagh with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
