Matt O'Connor

On March 28th, 2025, Matt passed away peacefully at St Joseph’s Unit, Bantry General Hospital, Bantry, Co Cork. Sadly missed by his wife Ann, his loving son Mark, daughters Alison and Susie, his sister Margaret, (predeceased by his sisters Eileen and Nancy, and his first wife Martha), his grandchildren Matilda, Gwen and Alex, Mark’s partner Lisa, Alison’s husband Jack and Susie’s partner David, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry, P75 YW58 on Friday March 28th from 7pm to 8.30pm with vigil prayers at 8.30pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday March 29th at 1pm at St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry, P75 T270 (to view live stream please click here) followed by a private cremation on Monday March 31st.
