Matt Ryan
The death has taken place of Matt Ryan, Gouldshill, Cork Road, Mallow and formerly of Thurles, Co. Tipperary, who passed away peacefully on February 20th 2026 at the Mercy University Hospital, Cork.
Beloved husband of the late Rita (née Riordan), adored father to Sharon and Paul and brother of the late Freddie, Michael, Nonie, Kitty and Bridie.
Sadly missed by his loving daughter, son, Paul's partner Lorraine, devoted grandfather of Larissa and Davina, precious great-grandfather of Eli and Louie, brother Timmy (London), sister-in-law Elaine, nieces, nephews, Larissa's husband Andrew, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James’ Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Monday (February 23rd) from 6pm with Prayers at 7pm, followed by Removal to St. Mary’s Church, Mallow.
Requiem Mass on Tuesday (February 24th) at 11am which may be viewed on
Funeral afterwards to St. Gobnait's Cemetery, Mallow.
