Pre-deceased by his loving wife Peggy [June 11th 2025] and his sister Eileen.

Beloved and cherished father of John [JJ], Geraldine and Aidan.

 

Sadly missed by his loving family – his sons, daughter, grandchildren Seoidín, Tiarnán, Seóna, Cathal, Liam and Gearóid, brother Eamonn, sister Mary, daughters-in-law Noreen and Norma, son-in-law Jim, nephew Kevin, nieces Helen, Margaret and Annette, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McElligott’s Funeral Home on Friday from 6.00PM to 7.30PM. Funeral arriving to St John’s Parish Church, Tralee on Saturday at 9.30AM where the Requiem Mass for Matt will be celebrated at 10.00 AM followed by interment afterwards in New Rath Lawn Cemetery.
