Matt Whelton
WHELTON (Camus, Castlefreke): on August 28th 2023 peacefully surrounded by his family at home. MATT beloved husband of Teresa (nee Spillane) much loved father of John, Kay (Ward), Caroline (O’Sullivan), Grainne (Weller), Kieran, Aidan, Raymond and Derek, brother of the late Hannie (O’Sullivan). Lovingly remembered by his wife, family, sister Mary (Sheehan), sons-in-law Paul, Chris and Jonathan, daughters-in-law Nuala, Breda, Lisa, Sinéad and Karen, grandchildren, brother-in-law Maurice, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Wednesday, August 30th 2023, from 5.30pm to 8pm with Prayers at 7.45pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, August 31st 2023, at 12 noon in St. James’ Church, Ardfield. This will be livestreamed via https://corklivestream.com/funerals. Funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
