Matthew Breen

Breen, Hazelbrook, Rathnew and late of Inbhear Mór Park, Arklow, Co. Wicklow, 17th November 2025 in the care of the staff of Crumlin Children’s Hospital, Dublin, with his family by his side, our beautiful son Matthew, aged 8 years passed away. Precious son of Ciara, Callum and Eden, loving brother of Tyler, Olivia, Amelia and Oliver, adored grandson of Anne (née Murphy) and the late William (Billy) Breen. Matthew will be loved and remembered always by his mammy, daddy, stepdad, brothers, sisters, Lauren, nanny, great grandparents Jimmy and Bridgid (Murphy), great uncles, great aunts, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives, friends, neighbours, classmates in Arklow and Wicklow.

Matthew will be reposing at his nanny Anne’s home in Mary B Mitchell Close, Inbhear Mór Park, Arklow on Thursday from 3pm to 7pm. Removal on Friday morning at 9.30am to St. Joseph’s Church, Templerainey, Arklow arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Matthew will be laid to rest with his grandad Billy in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Arklow. (walking from Lamberton).
