Matthew Delaney

Matthew (Matt) Delaney, 91 St Cormac’s Park, Kilcormac, Co Offaly, formerly Canal Line, Pullough and late of Bord Na Mona, peacefully on the 11th April 2021, surrounded by his adoring family, predeceased by his son Robert, daughter Jenny, grand-daughter Sarah Jane, grandson Danny. Matt will be sadly missed by his loving wife Agnes, his heartbroken daughters Mary, Josie (New York), Agnes and Irene, sons John, Paul, Martin, Brian (New York) and Kevin (New Orleans). Fondly remembered as Gaga to his cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers John (Cappincur), Kieran (Pullough), sons-in-laws, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May Matt’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Removal to the church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Kilcormac, Co Offaly for requiem Mass, Tuesday 13th April, at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St Joseph’s Cemetery. Due to government advice regarding public gatherings a private funeral will take place.
