Matthew Joseph Whelan
Matthew Joseph Whelan, Mweelnahorna Ring and formerly of Balinafina, Rathgormack, Co. Waterford passed away on Wednesday 1st February 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents Matthew and Bridget Whelan, daughter-in-law Maria Louise Whelan and his sister-in-law Frances Kennedy. Deeply missed by his loving wife Bee, daughter Teri, sons Peter, Matthew and Thomas, daughter-in-law Abbie, grandchildren Onelia, Nancy, Fiadh and twins Conall and Oscar, brothers, sisters, brothers and sisters in-laws, nephews, nieces, and extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Drohan’s Funeral Home Dungarvan on Thursday, 2nd February, from 5p.m to 7p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday, 3rd February, at 1p.m in the Sacred Heart Church, Rathgormack. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Waterford Palliative Care.
