Matthew (Matsie) Rogers

Rogers, Matthew (Matsie), Sunrise: 11th June 1941, Sunset: 17th April 2025, (Enfield, Co. Meath and formerly of Kildare Road, Crumlin); peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff in Parke House Nursing Home, Kilcock. Beloved Husband and best friend to Monica and much loved and devoted dad to Sandra, David, Elaine, and Denise.

Matsie will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving family, wife, children, daughter-in-law Linda, sons-in-law D.J., Ger and Henry, his adored grandchildren Dónal, Dará, Tomás, Ciarán, Frankie, Luke, Zach and Eva, great-granddaughter Amelia, sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, wide circle of friends and neighbours.

May Matsie rest in peace.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, The Square, Tallaght (opp Tallaght stadium) on Monday (21st April) from 1pm to 3pm. A Funeral Service to celebrate Matsie’s life will take place on Tuesday (22nd April) at 2:30pm in the Temple in Newland's Cross Crematorium followed by cremation.

Matsie’s family would love if everyone attending the Funeral Service on Tuesday could wear bright colours.
