The death has occurred of
MATTHEW (MATT MIKE HUGH) TWOMEY
TWOMEY (Turners Cross, Cork & Doire Leathan, Coolea): On May 6th, 2025, aged 91 years, peacefully, at home, MATTHEW (MATT MIKE HUGH). Beloved husband of Eileen (née O’Donoghue), much loved Dad of Michael, Margaret (Moore) and Norma (Howard), adored Granda of Mairéad, Maitiú, Ellie, Ben & Jack, son of the late Michael and Margaret and brother of the late Hugh, Johnny, Betty, Michael and Mary. Matt will be sadly missed by all his family, sons-in-law Ken & Denis, sister-in-law Mary, brother-in-law Johnny, his many nieces and nephews, neighbours, wonderful carers and his great friends.

Matt will repose in Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Turners Cross on Thursday (May 8th) from 5pm until 6pm.
Requiem Mass on Friday (May 9th) at 2pm in Coolea Church followed by burial in St Gobnait’s Cemetery, Ballyvourney.
