Matthew (Mattie) Barrett

Barrett, Matthew (Mattie), Moynalty Road, Kells, Co. Meath and formerly of Kilmainham, Kells. 25th October 2024. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Beaufort House Nursing Home, Navan. Mattie will be sadly missed by his loving wife May (née McGovern), his daughter Rosemarie (Rosi Meegan), his sons Matthew and Tommy, his grandchildren Dáire, Rónán, Evan, Peter, Sarah and Helen, his son-in-law PJ, his daughter-in-law Mary, his nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McEntee's Funeral Home, Kells, Co. Meath (A82 K0D7) on Saturday (26th) afternoon from 5 o'clock to 7 o'clock. Removal on Sunday morning at 11.55 arriving at St. Colmcille's Church, Kells for funeral mass at 12.15 which may be viewed live on kellsparish.ie. Burial afterwards in St. Colmcille's Cemetery.
