Matthew (Matty) Long

Long, Matthew (Matty) 30th January 2024 (Palmerstown and formerly of Dublin Corporation) peacefully in the loving care of the staff at St James Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his daughter Josephine. Matty will be very sadly missed by his loving wife and soulmate Kathleen, daughters Cindy, Marrita, sons Matthew, Kieran, sons-in-law David, Craig and Michael, daughter-in-law Niki, his adored grandchildren Dean, Leila, Hannan, Owen, Sophie and their partners Gina, Aidan, Shane, Sarah and Sam, great grandchildren Emma, Conor, Willow, Wren, Caleb, Everly, Effie and Oliver, brothers Ken, Bernard and sister Noleen, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Matty will be reposing at his family home on Friday, 2nd February, from 5pm to 7.30pm. Removal on Saturday morning, 3rd February, to St Philomena’s Church, Palmerstown arriving for 10am Funeral Mass followed by cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium at 11.30am
