The death has occurred of
Matthew Murphy
Murphy (Ballinadee and late of Ballinaboy, Ballinhassig) on February 7th 2023 peacefully at his home in Kilgobbin and surrounded by his loving family. Matthew (in his 97th year), beloved husband of Julia (nee Coughlan) and dear father of Michael, Donal, Ita (Whitehead) and the late Mary (Ahern, Grenagh).
Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, daughters-in-law Catriona and Martina, sons-in-law John and Christopher, grandchildren, sister Kitty Pomphrett, sister-in-law Teresa Barry, nephews, nieces, neighbours, his home care team, relatives and many friends.
Matthew will be lying in repose in Sacred Heart Church, Ballinadee on Wednesday from 7pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 2pm, funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
