Matt passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 28, 2025, with his much-loved family by his side in the wonderful care of the Galway Hospice.

Dearly beloved brother of the late Philomena, Monica, Teresa, Donal and Tom. Rest In Peace.

 

Matt is deeply mourned by his wife Noreen, daughter Kathleen, sons Matt and Liam and his brother Dermot. He will also be sadly missed by his daughter-in-law Maria, Kathleen’s fiancé Dan, grandchildren Nicholas and Miroslava, nieces and nephews, the extended Ryan and Mulrooney family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at St. James’ Pastoral Centre within the grounds of St. James’ Church, Bushy Park (H91 A5V2) from 6 p.m. with Removal into the Church at 7.30 p.m.

 

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Matt at 11 a.m. Following Mass he will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
