Mattie Dowd, Rathduff, Balla, Co., Mayo, 21st March 2020, passed away peacefully. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Patsy, daughters, Ailish, Emer, Rachel, Andrea, Caitriona, and Martha, his sister Kathleen (Galway), grandchildren, sons-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Due to the Coronavirus, the family has taken the very difficult decision that the funeral, will take place privately, for immediate family only, this is for everyone's health and welfare.

Mattie's Funeral Mass will be held in St., Cronan's Church, Balla,on tomorrow Monday at 2pm, with Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery .

Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, this Mass and Burial will be held with family only and strict H S E restrictions will have to be upheld, Please,as requested by Matties Family.

A Memorial Mass will be arranged and announced to celebrate Mattie's life, at a later date.

May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
