The death has occurred of
Mattie Killeen
Peacefully at Galway Hospice surrounded by his loving family after a long illness, bravely borne.
Predeceased by his wife Mary, parents Thomas and Mary, brother Mick, sister Maureen and sister-in-law Mary (Potter). Mattie will be forever and deeply missed by his children Fiona, Noel, Aiden, Laura and Chloe, cherished granddaughter Ciara, niece Mary, brother Seán, sister Sr. Rita and sister-in-law Eileen, nieces, nephews, grand-nephews and nieces, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
Mattie will be reposing in the Sacred Heart Room adjacent to the Sacred Heart Church in Ryehill on Tuesday 27th June from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving to the Sacred Heart Church, Ryehill for Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Monivea Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Galway Hospice on www.galwayhospice.ie. House private please on Wednesday morning. Mattie’s Funeral will be livestreamed on the Abbeyknockmoy Parish Facebook page and listened to on Ryehill Parish radio on 104.5FM.
