The death has occurred of
Mattie (Matthew) Walsh
Mattie (Matthew) Walsh, 10th August 2025, Cummer, Rahins, Castlebar and formerly of Slogger, Westport, peacefully in Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar in his 92nd year.
Predeceased by his loving wife Mary Kirkpatrick Cameron, parents Martin and Mary, brothers Marty, Johnny, Mick, Frank, sisters Kathleen, Tina, Sue.
Mattie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his step son Richard Kirkpatrick and his wife Ann, grandchildren Ricky, David, Jenny Kirkpatrick and Colin and Michelle Forrestal, great grandchildren, his dear sister Belinda Tunney (Westport), sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Mattie will repose in Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlebar, F23 XY63 on Tuesday (12th August) from 5.30pm with removal at 7pm to Holy Rosary Church, Glenisland, F12 E702.
Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in Aughaval Cemetery, Westport, Co. Mayo.
