Maud (Mary) D'Arcy (née Kearney), passed away peacefully on 19th September 2024, at University College Hospital Galway, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of Eoghan for 58 years, and dearly loved mother of Maura, Christina, Niamh, and Fergal. She will be sadly missed by her sister Betsy, her cherished grandchildren Claire, Ailish, Ethan, Cathán, Laura, Thomas, Kate, Meadbh, Aoibhe, and her great-grandchildren Adam, Lucy, and Faye.

Maud is predeceased by her brother Michael.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, 20th September 2024, in the Sacred Heart Church, Westside. Removal afterwards to the University of Galway Anatomy Department, in accordance with her wishes to aid in the silent teaching of others.
