Peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family in the great care of the doctors, nurses and staff at Sligo University Hospital.

Predeceased by her infant daughter Nicola, parents Tommy and Rosie Oates and brothers Thomas and Martin.

Beloved wife of Billy and dear mother of Michelle, Darren and Craig.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, daughter, sons, sister Jennifer, grandchildren Kensie, Saoirse, Ollie and Sophie, son-in-law Declan Kelly, daughter-in-law Aideen, Craig’s partner Shannon, brother-in-law Richie Nugent, nephews, in-laws, relatives and friends.

Reposing at The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Monday 13th April from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral will arrive at St. Anne’s Church, Sligo on Tuesday 14th April at 11:00am for Requiem mass, with funeral proceeding to Sligo Cemetery for burial after.
