The death has occurred of
Maura Burke
(née Byrne)
Peacefully on 16th July 2025 in the tender care of Oakfield Nursing Home & with her loving family by her side. Beloved wife of 72 years of Jimmy, adored mother of James, Angela, Tony, Terry, Eilish & Paul & sister of the late Breda, Una & Angela. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing husband, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her nineteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren & two great-great-grandchildren, her nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours & many dear friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at her son Paul’s residence (21 The Maples, Arklow, Y14 VK77) from 2pm until 8pm on Friday. Removal on Saturday morning at 9 o’clock to St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church arriving for Requiem Mass at 10 o’clock, walking via The Navvy Bridge & Main Street.
Those who cannot attend Maura’s funeral Mass are welcome to join via webcam;
