Maura died on December 24th, 2025, peacefully, in the loving care of the staffi at Esker Rí Nursing Home, Clara.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Martin, son Patrick (Pat) (August 8th 2025) and brother John.

Maura will be sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Catherine, in-laws, Bridgie, Liz, Helen and Eamon, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace

Maura will repose at Grennan's Funeral Home, Ferbane (R42 HW25) on Saturday evening (Dec. 27th) from 4.30pm to 6pm.

(Additional parking available in the adjoining Church carpark)

Maura's Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Sunday morning (Dec. 28th) in St. Colmcille's Church, Ballinahown at 11.30am, and she will be laid to rest afterwards in Clonmacnois.
