Maura BYRNE

Maura Byrne of 137 O’Hanrahan Avenue, Carlow and Hillcourt, Highfield Rd., Rathgar, Dublin, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and friends, on April 12th, 2026 at Sonas Nursing Home, Tullow, Co Carlow.

 

Beloved daughter of the late James and Harriet, much loved sister of the late Jimmy and treasured friend of Anna Hayes.

 

 

She will be sadly missed by her loving sister-in-law Margaret, nephew David, niece Majella, extended family, relatives and friends.

 

May Maura’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

 

Maura will repose at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq (R93 C863) on Monday April 13th from 4pm until 7pm, pausing for Prayers at 6.30pm. Removal from there on Tuesday morning at 9.45am to The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
