Maura passed away peacefully on the 18th of April 2026, in the excellent care of staff at St. Vincent's Unit, Dungarvan Community Hospital, predeceased by her parents Jimmy and Delia Delany, sister Cora Quealy and other members of the Creed and Delany families.

Maura is deeply mourned and sadly missed by her devoted and loving husband John, daughters Cordelia and Mary, sons James and David, sister Patty O'Meara, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren Allison, Fiona, Mathieu, Ronan, Eoghan, Shane, Clíona and Áine, great grandchildren Savinu, Pasandi and Nora, nieces, nephews, extended family relatives and friends.

Maura will be reposing at The Kiely Funeral Home, Dungarvan on Tuesday evening, 21st April from 5 p.m. with Prayers at 7 p.m. Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. on Wednesday morning, 22nd April, in St. Mary's Parish Church, Dungarvan. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
