Maura DEVITT
(née O'Driscoll)

DEVITT, Maura Devitt (nee O’Driscoll) after a protracted battle with cancer, at Kingston Hospital, Surrey, sadly missed by her husband Tom. Beloved daughter of the late James O’Driscoll and Mary (O’Neill), beloved sister of  Oona Clare (New York), Ann Carley (Cork), the late Finn (Dublin 1996), the late  Seamus (Dublin 2015) and the very late Carmel Murphy (New York, September 2021) She will be sadly missed by her loving sisters, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, sister-in-law Eileen, brother-in-law Jim, relatives and many friends, particularly in the Sisters of St Louis, Ireland and California.

She will be sadly missed also by the wife and family of her late brother-in-law Mike (2017), her brother-in-law Sean and his family, and her brother-in-law Fr Seamus Devitt CSsR (Ballyfermot, Dublin). She will also be missed by many friends in the Redemptorist Order in Ireland and Cebu, Philippines.

Funeral Arrangements are as follows:

December 10th 2021 Funeral Mass 09:30  at St James Church, Popes Grove, Twickenham UK TW1 4JZ  (https://www.churchservices.tv/twickenham)followed by cremation at Mortlake Crematorium (Private) and a reception at The Emmanuel Centre at rear of St James’ Church on Pope’s Grove/Radnor Road.

December 17th 2021 Interment Mass 11:30 at Our Lady of the Assumption, Ballyfermot, Dublin, Ireland (assumptionballyfermot.ie/parish-tv/) followed by reception as permitted by Covid Regulations following interment of the ashes with her parents and brother at Bohernabreena Cemetery.
