The death has occurred of
Maura Downey
Downey (Cork) on November 30th 2021 peacefully in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Maryborough Nursing Home; Maura (late of Wilton Gardens). Beloved daughter of the late Edward and Margaret and sister of the late John and Patricia (O’Connell). Sadly missed by her loving nieces Frances, Bridget, Finola, Helen and Mairead, nephew Eamonn, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends, especially Marion (O’Connell) and Carmel (O’Donovan).
Visitation at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Friday, 3rd December, from 5pm to 6pm. Reception into the Church of the Holy Spirit, Dennehy’s Cross on Saturday, 4th December, at 9.45am for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral afterwards to St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
