Maura Harkness

HARKNESS - (nee Brogan) Maura, Edinburgh and Kinvara, Co. Galway died on November 29, 2025, beloved wife of Bill who died on November 16, 2025. They are deeply missed by their loving son Andrew, Bills sister Mary Forbes and her family. By Maura's sisters, Ann Egan, Bernadette Monks, Josette Maurer and her brothers Gerry, Michael, Finbarr, Declan, Vincent, Colm and extended family and friends. Maura is predeceased by her parents Michael and Bridget, her siblings Micháel, Jim, Paddy, Enda and Breda Mara.
Maura and Bill's funerals were held in Edinburgh.
A memorial service will be held in Kinvara on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 12.00 noon in St. Joseph's Church, Kinvara.
