Maura Keevan

In loving memory of our dear sister Maura Keevan who died on 13th December 2020 aged 73 years. Maura was one of seven children, the youngest daughter of the late Edward and Kitty Keevan, 11 Pearse Square Carrick-on-Suir, Co Tipperary. Maura was educated by the Presentation sisters after which she worked  for a short time in her home town, in her late teens she moved to London where she lived and worked for almost thirty years, she also married and had a baby son during this time, she eventually moved with her son Christopher to Norwich, Norfolk on the East Coast of England where she lived for the remainder of her life. 

Sadly in her later years her health was not good and she spent her final years in Broadland View Care Home where she was treated with great care and kindness by the manager Sharon and all the staff, heartfelt thanks to them from all our family.

Maura is survived by her son Christopher, sister Nuala, brothers Edward, Michael,  Thomas, Patrick and John Paul, sisters in law, uncle Paddy Millea of clonmel, nieces nephews and many cousins.

A special mention for Richard who has been a great friend and companion to Maura during all the years of their friendship. The Keevan family deeply appreciate his constant affection and kindness to her during all the years but most especially during the long difficult years of her illness.

Goodbye dear sister you will be greatly missed, may she rest in peace. 

Maura's funeral took place on the 27th January 2020.
