Maura passed peacefully in the loving care of the Galway Hospice on Friday morning. Pre-deceased by her husband Ken, Maura is survived by her children Rhona, Grainne and Brendan, their partners Claudia and Paul, and adored grandchildren Alex and Francesca; her sister Cepta Vernon, nieces Helen, Niave, Sheila and nephew David.

Reposing at Conneely’s Funeral Home, Flood Street, H91 A786 on Tuesday, 18th March, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Arriving at St. Patrick’s Garrison Church, Renmore, on Wednesday, 19th March, for Requiem Mass at 11:00 a.m. Following Mass, a private cremation will take place.
