Maura Long
(née Lucey)
LONG (Cork) On March 25th, 2024, peacefully, in the presence of her loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff at the Mercy University Hospital, MAURA, (nee Lucey) late of Audley Place, Patrick’s Hill. Dearly beloved wife of the late Pat, much loved mother of Barry, Sandra, Genette, Sharon, Damien, Alan, Daithi and the late Jason, adored grandmother and great-grandmother and Honorary Member of the Cork Staffordshire Bull Terrier Society and volunteer with Friendly Call. Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, brothers, sisters, daughters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her home, Audley Place (Eircode T23 NP2E) on Wednesday (27th March) from 5.00pm with Prayers at 7.00pm. Liturgy of the Word on Thursday (28th March) at 12 noon in the Holy Family Church, Military Hill. If you wish to view the Liturgy of the Word click on https://www.mycondolences.ie and follow link. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Mercy Foundation.
