It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maura after a long and happy life. Maura passed away peacefully, on 27th February, in the wonderful care of St Brendan's Community Nursing Home, Loughrea, Co. Galway.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy, her brothers Tommy, Brendan and Anthony and her sisters Stasia, Bernie, Teresa and Patty.

Maura will be missed deeply by her loving sons Gerard and Pat, daughters-in-law Carmel and SallyAnn, grandchildren Ciara, Eimhear and Michael, brothers Michael and John, her sisters Bridie and Rita, sisters-in-law Fionnuala, Mary and Breege and brother-in-law Pat, nieces and nephews, members of the extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Maura will repose in Dignity Funeral Care, Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Loughrea on Saturday, 2nd March, from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral cortége to arrive at St Brendan's Cathedral, Loughrea on Sunday, 3rd March, at 11.40am for Requiem Mass for Maura at 12noon. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the Carmelite Abbey cemetery, Loughrea. For those unable to attend, Mass can be viewed using the following link: Maura's Mass
