Maura Murphy née Farrell, 4th April 2025 ‘El Vista’ Pontoon Road, Castlebar, F23 EY19, and formerly of Poleberry, Waterford City, peacefully in Sonas Nursing Home, Knock, Co. Mayo, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents Annie and Mick Farrell, brothers Michael and Willie, sister Annette and daughter-in-law Fiona.

Sadly missed by her devoted and much loved husband Michael, sons Michael (Regina), Kieran (Kathleen), Brendan and Damian, brothers Brendan (Waterford) and Edwin (Kathleen) (Waterford), brothers-in-law Martin (Kilkenny) and John (Anne) (Kilkenny), grandchildren Michael, Jonathon, Derek, Conor, Katelyn, Killian, Caimin, Róisín, Hayden and Dirren, great- granddaughters Lucille Michael (USA) and Eva Mae (USA), much loved sister Breda (Kevin) USA, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends.

Maura will repose at her home ‘El Vista’ Pontoon Road, Castlebar, F23 EY19 on Sunday 6th April from 5.30pm to 7pm.

Removal from her residence on Monday at 11.45 a.m for Requiem Mass at 1 pm in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.

Maura will be laid to rest afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery.
