The death has occurred of Maura Naughton (nee Gill) of Cushmaigmore, Furbo, County Galway, formerly of Spiddal. Maura passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday 28th October 2023. Predeceased by her husband Jimmy and sister Tessie. Sadly missed by her son Michael, daughters Orla and Fiona, grand children Richard and Fergal, sisters Bernie, Dympna, Deirdre, Frances and brother Hugh.

Reposing at the 'Cillín' Mary Immaculate Queen Church, Barna (H91 A2T7) on Monday 30th of October from 5:30pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Maura on Tuesday 31st of October at 12 noon at adjoining church. Following Mass she will be laid to rest in Réalt na Mara Cemetery, Furbo. Donations, if desired, to Galway Hospice.
