Maura O’Connor (née Monaghan), Sarsfieldstown, Killucan, Co.Westmeath, 11th December 2025,(peacefully) surrounded by her loving family in the loving care of the staff at St. Camillus Nursing Centre, Killucan, pre-deceased by her husband Paddy and parents Joe and Jane and sadly missed by her loving daughter Geraldine, sons Paul and David, son in law Kevin, daughters in law Andrea and Catriona, grandchildren Christopher, Sarah, Jean, Ruth, Noel, Emma and Aoife, great-grandchildren Kit and Sadie, sisters Phyllis and Josephine, brother in law Paddy, nephews, neighbours, relatives and a large circle of good friends.

May Maura Rest In Peace

Reposing in St. Camillus Nursing Centre Chapel, Killucan (Eircode N91 VF51) on Saturday (13th December) from 4pm, concluding with prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass will take place in St. Joseph’s Church, Rathwire on Sunday (14th December) at 11.30am, followed by burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of Mullingar Regional Hospital, St. Camillus nursing home, Rose Lodge nursing home, Dr. Duignan, her carers Geraldine and Hillary, and all of her good neighbours and friends.
