MAURA O'NEILL

MAURA O’NEILL (Ladysbridge, Cork). On November 26th 2025, after a short illness bravely borne, in the excellent care of ICU, Cork University Hospital.

 

Beloved daughter of the late Dá and Breda (née O’Leary). Sister to Éamonn and Sheila and companion to Niall for the past 18 years.

 

Deeply mourned by her aunts Joan and Catherine, her uncle Stephen and all her relations, friends and work colleagues in Tesco, Midleton.

 

Predeceased by her parents, her sister-in-law Cáit, her companion of many years Willie Curtin.

 

May Maura Rest in Peace.

 

Maura will repose at Hydes Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton P25VW02 on Friday 28th from 5pm – 6:30pm.

 

Reception into St. Mary’s Church, Ladysbridge for 11.30am Requiem Mass on Saturday 29th after which Maura will be laid to rest alongside her parents in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Ladysbridge.

 

Mass will be available to view live on Parish-of-Ballymacoda-Ladysbridge Facebook Page.
