Maura O'Reilly
(née Whelan)

Maura passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on the 18th of November 2025.

Pre-deceased by her husband Seán Snr., her son Seán Jnr and her son-in-law Brian McMurray.

Maura will be dearly missed by her her beloved children Ellen, Geraldine, Jim, Anne, Noreen, Michael, Martin, Maura and Noel, her 22 adored grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sister Eileen, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Maura is also pre-deceased by her parents Michael and Margaret and her brother Noel.

Reposing at her home in Knockasartnett, V93 V2AO from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday the 20th of November. Funeral arriving at Prince of Peace Church, Fossa at 10:30am on Friday morning for Requiem Mass at 11:00a.m. Burial afterwards in Aghadoe Cemetery.

Family flowers only by request, donations in lieu if desired to St. Mary of the Angels, Beaufort.

Notice: Due to ongoing road works on the Groin/Madams Hill side access to Aghadoe Cemetery is limited to the R563 turnoff (The Golden Nugget)
