Maura Sweeney
(née Grant)
Sweeney, (née Grant) Maura, (Dublin 9 and late of Glenmalure, Co. Wicklow) – 8th, December 2023 – (peacefully) in the loving care of her family and the staff at Highfield Nursing Home; beloved wife of the late Paddy, loving mother of Jacqueline, Caroline (Egan), Conor and Karl and cherished Granny to Sorcha, Sonja, Luke, Chris, Zoë, Leo, Klara and Ella.
Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Joseph (Dowling) and Peter (Egan), daughter-in-law Clare, sisters Kay, Pat and Margaret, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours, carers and many friends.
Maura will be reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Monday (December 11th) from 3pm to 7pm, with family in attendance.
Removal to the Church of St. Paul of the Cross, Mount Argus on Tuesday (December 12th) arriving at 11.25am for 11.30am Requiem Mass followed by burial at Rathnew Cemetery.
