Briggs (née Leonard), Park Avenue, Arklow, Co. Wicklow, 21st August 2025, peacefully with her family by her side, in the loving care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Maureen beloved wife of the late Sunny and dearly loved mother of Edward and Anita, adored nanny of Corey, Keith, Caleb, Joshua and Kyle, loving sister of Chris and the late Sadie, Eileen, Paddy, Bob, Joe and Bridie. She will be sadly missed by her loving son, daughter, grandchildren, great grandchildren Josh, Bradley and Frankie, brother, son-in-law Tony, Edward’s partner Julie, sisters-in-law Maeve and Mary, nieces & nephews near and far, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.

 

May Maureen Rest in Peace.

 

Maureen will be reposing at Hudson’s Funeral Home (Y14 PT80) today Friday from 4pm to 7pm, with removal Saturday morning at 9.30am to The Church of Saints Mary & Peter, Arklow, arriving for Mass at 10am, followed by burial in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Arklow.

Walking via the Wexford Road.
