Maureen Curran

Formerly of Waterlane, Bohermore.

On the 31st of August 2025, Maureen passed away very peacefully in The Galway Hospice, with her loving family by her side.

Predeceased by her husband Tommy, brothers Eamon, Colm, Stephen and Jimmy and her sister Áine.

Will be sadly missed by her daughters Mairead, Deirdre and Kathy, son Stephen, sons-in-law Eugene and Coleman, daughter-in-law Calli, her nine adoring grandchildren Kaitlin, Kiara, Ryan, Evan, Emma, Mark, Cameron, Gannon and Jack, sisters Barbara and Margo, brothers Paddy, Johnny and Tony, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing in The Holy Family Funeral Home, Mervue (H91 FH52) on Wednesday the 3rd of September from 5pm. Removal at 6:30pm to the adjoining church. Maureen's Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday the 4th of September at 11am. Maureen will then be laid to rest with her husband Tommy, in The New Cemetery Bohermore.
