Maureen Daly
(née Coughlan)
On October 2nd, 2024, surrounded by her family at Bantry General Hospital. MAUREEN, beloved wife of the late Timmy, loving mother of Michael, Tim, Danny and dear sister of Matt. Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters-in-law Joan, Tina and Mary, grandchildren Clare, Michael Luke, Daniel, Alex, Darragh, Shauna and Ronan, great-grandchildren Chloe and Indie, sister-in-law Mamie, nephews Matt and Shane, her dear friends Margaret and family, relatives, kind neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
“A day without laughter is a day wasted”
The Daly family would like to acknowledge and thank Dr Ali and his team and all the staff of Bantry General Hospital for their amazing care and for the kindness shown to Mom during her illness, it is very much appreciated.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at her home on Friday Oct. 4th, from 5pm to 8.30pm with vigil prayers at 8.30pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, Oct. 5th, at 2pm at Sacred Heart Church, Durrus (to view live stream please click here), followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Friends of Bantry General Hospital, c/o Bantry General Hospital.
