The death has occurred of
Maureen Delaney
Maureen (Maura) Delaney, St. Gabriel’s Ward, St. Canice’s Hospital, Kilkenny and formerly of Tullaroan, Co. Kilkenny.
Peacefully, in the wonderful care of staff at St. Gabriel’s Ward, St. Canice’s Hospital, Kilkenny on Tuesday, 10th February 2026 in her 102nd year.
Pre-deceased by her parents Patrick and Molly, her sisters Sheila, Ursula, Bridie, Elsie and Nee, her brother Joe and also her brother who died in infancy.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, her sister Rita Kay, brothers-in-law Stephen and Chris, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
May Maureen Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan, Co. Kilkenny (Eircode R95 Y443), on Friday, 13th February, from 9.30am.
Funeral Prayers at 10am followed by removal to The Church of the Assumption, Tullaroan arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am.
Burial afterwards in Tullaroan Cemetery.
