The death has occurred of Maureen Devine (née Murphy), 1 Marian Avenue, Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford, aged 96.

Maureen departed this world peacefully, in the presence of her loving family and in the tender loving care of the staff in Our Lady's Manor, Edgeworthstown, on Saturday 18th November 2023. Predeceased by her parents Kate Ann and William, her beloved husband Tony, brothers John and Bill, sisters Evelyn, Nancy, Rita and Kathleen, her sons Harry, Anthony and infant twins, John Anthony and Patrick Joseph.

Maureen will be dearly missed by her daughter May (Lyons), sons Michael, Vivian and Gerard, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, granchildren and great grandchildren, relatives and friends.

May Maureen rest in eternal peace.

Reposing in Our Lady's Manor, Edgeworthstown on Monday 20th from 5 o'clock, concluding with prayers at 8 o'clock. Mass of the Resurrection to celebrate Maureen's wonderful long life will be held at 12 o'clock on Tuesday 21st in St. Mary's Church, Edgeworthstown, with interment afterwards in Aughafin Cemetery.
