MAUREEN DOOCEY (née Ahern), Corbally, Dungourney
On December 3rd 2025 peacefully, in the tender care of the staff at Glendonagh Nursing Home, Dungourney. Beloved wife of the late Paddy, loving mother of Alice (Horgan), Mairéad (O’Neill), Carmel (O’Callaghan), Pat (Doocey) and Miriam (Harney). Sister of the late Corney, Tommy, Bridie and Francie.
Maureen will be deeply missed by her 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Dan, John, David and Richard, daughter-in-law Catherine, sister-in-law Kathleen (USA), a special thank you to Karen and all of her nieces and nephews who were very good to mam throughout her life, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
May Maureen Rest in Peace.
Maureen will repose at Hydes Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton, P25 VW02, on Thursday 4th from 5pm–7pm.
Requiem Mass on Friday 5th at 1pm in St. Lawrence’s Church, Clonmult, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
