Maureen Durkan
(née Sweeney)
Maureen Durkan (née Sweeney), Knockbawn, Callow, Foxford and formerly of Meadoran, Geesala, peacefully at the Tí Aire Nursing Home, Belmullet, Co. Mayo on 30th January 2020.
Predeceased by her husband Bernard. She will be sadly missed by her family, sons Joseph Durkan (Corboy, Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford) and Michael (Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, U.S.A.), daughter Ann Marie (Hillsborough, Co. Down), grandchildren Oisín, Fionnán, Rhys, Oran, Jamie and Bella Rose, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, niece, relatives and friends.
May Her Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
Remains reposing at McDonnells Funeral Home, Belmullet on Saturday evening from 4.30 until 5.30 with funeral arriving at St. Thomas’ Church, Callow, Foxford at 8.30. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 2 O’Clock, followed by burial in Craggagh Cemetery.
