The death has occurred peacefully and with dignity of Maureen Gammell (nee Thornhill), Spanish Point, Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare, in the gentle care of Milford Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.
Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Jim and her sisters Kathleen Fitzgerald and Christina Denning.
Sadly missed by her beloved children, Michael, Angela, Josephine and Séamus, daughters in law Margaret & Joanna, son in law Gerry, grandchildren Lisa, Emma Alex, Luke & Nathan, sister Helen, brothers Michael & John, brother in law John Fitzgerald & his wife Josephine, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at St. Joseph's Church, Miltown Malbay (V95 WR98) on Tuesday 19th December from 5 o'clock with prayers at 7 o'clock. Funeral Mass on Wednesday 20th December at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Ballard Cemetery. The Mass can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/miltownmalbay
