Ballybeg, Ennis, Co. Clare and formerly of St. Joseph’s Terrace, Clarecastle, Co. Clare.
Maureen passed away peacefully at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by her loving family on the 12th February 2026.
Beloved wife of John and adored mother of Niamh, Barbara and Fiona. Sadly missed by her husband, daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren Cian, Jack, Ciara, Ben, Sophie, Sam, Chloe and Alex, brothers, sisters, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Funeral Arrangements: Arriving at Clarecastle Church on Monday (16th Feb.) for Funeral Mass at 11 am, followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.

The family would like to thank the staff of ward 3B UHL for their kindness, respect and dignity they showed to Maureen during her stay with them, also Abbey Medical Centre, in particular Dr. Edel.
